SOME HIGHLIGHTS…..
Our youngest NPSC teams made a great impression this weekend with 5 games played resulting in 3 wins, 1 tie, and 1 loss. Congratulations to Kristy Copeland who opened her new coaching season with NPSC with two victories (STORM G2008 won 8-3 and FURY G2009 won 6-0).
SHARKS B2008 opened their season with a 7-0 victory.

PREDATORS G2007 first game in Silver Bracket ended in a 3-3 tie. Congratulations to Mia for scoring the team’s first Silver goal and for doing so within the first 30 seconds of the game.

STING B2005 had a strong start to the season. Sting won 6-2 on Saturday vs FC United and tied on Sunday 2-2 vs United RC. They are hoping to keep their undefeated record for the rest of the season!

VIPERS G2005 kicked off their first game in Silver with a 3-0 win! The girls played hard and were happy to have their first “W” for the season.

PUMAS G2004 lost 1-2 on Saturday, then battled back to win on Sunday 3-0 vs Oxnard Wave to get their first points in the Silver Bracket.

Pumas had a good weekend.  We played a strong first half in the opening game, but ran out of steam late and lost 2-1 to Legacy.  On Sunday we played a strong first half again, but maintained the energy and quality into the second half and got a 3-0 win over Oxnard. “Coach Steve”

VENOM B2003 lost 1-2 on Sunday after a brilliant tie finish vs Boca JR (2-2)

PRIDE G2003 ended their first weekend in Silver Elite with 2 losses, both games with the same score 1-2. The defeat was tough, but Pride has a great foundation and is looking forward to the rest of the season.

PANTHERS G2001 also kicked off their first game in Silver Elite bracket with a victory 5-0 vs Coastal Valley. Way to go Panthers!

HEAT B2002 GOLD: “On Saturday the 2002 Heat boys started the CLS Season with a tie against local rival Camarillo eagles team 2-2. With the older brother playing for the Eagles, and his younger brother playing for Heat, the best end result of a tie was appreciated by the Grandi family!” Manager: Michelle De La Torre

EXTREME G1999 GOLD: “On Sunday the 1999 eXtreme girls battled against Foothill Storm. Playing with only 9 available eXtreme players and no subs for a 9v9 against their bench of 17, the eXtreme girls pushed thru the 101+ temperatures in the Foothills trailing 3-4 until the last 9 minutes of the games when Storm ended up squeezing in 2 more for an eXtreme loss 6-3. Much love for their passion and dedication!” Coach: Michelle De La Torre.

FALCONS B2005 SILVER: Falcons won against LA Galaxy Blue 2-1 on Saturday and lost against LA Galaxy Black 0-4 on Sunday. La Galaxy teams played very physical on both games. But the Falcons did their best in spite of several players missing due to injury and been sick” Manager: Steve Ferdinand

Great Job players, coaches and parents!
