An Important Message From NPSC Regarding COVID-19Brian EtheridgeMarch 12, 2020
Dear NPSC Community,
The Board of NPSC have decided to suspend all NPSC activities effective Friday March 13th until further notice. Club activities include practices, games, tournaments, scrimmages, and any related travel. We will revisit commencing Club activities on a weekly basis as new information becomes available.
In an effort to help reduce the probability of community spread, , NPSC believes it’s in the best interest of our community to take a pause from Club activities. This decision was not taken lightly as we realize playing and practicing with your team is the best way to take your mind off the hectic world. Unfortunately, this global event is unprecedented.
Please adhere to the preventative best practices that have been shared from numerous sources already. If you feel sick, stay home. Practice social distancing. Don’t shake hands. Wash and wash and wash your hands. Don’t touch your face. Use hand sanitizer. Sneeze in your elbow or tissue. Use common sense.
As many of us will spend a few more hours at home, please use the time to reflect on what’s important in our lives and community. Send some positive energy to those in higher risk groups. Use this a teaching moment to help kids understand adversity. Let’s all hope we are acting out of an abundance of caution and will be back out on the pitch in short order.
Please forward to all NPSC families. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to any of the NPSC board members.
